Closing General Session  | Building a Region of Inclusion:  The Role of Business and Employers

This summer, Microsoft will be the title sponsor for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, to be held for the first time in Seattle.  We’re getting ready for the Games by teaming up with state and local leaders and businesses to create a region that welcomes everyone. Come hear from Brad Smith (President, Microsoft), Washington Governor Jay Inslee, Former U.S. Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA),  Beth Knox (President & CEO Special Olympics USA Games), Mayor Jenny Durkan and Ana Mari Cauce (President, University of Washington) to exchange ideas for empowering people with disabilities, building pathways to employment, and creating support systems for individuals and families. Learn how you can get involved, and how you can lift some of the programs or support them in your local community.
